The Inglis Easter Yearling Sale is the place to go to find the next exciting stallion prospect. Since 2008, Inglis Easter has been the source of twenty-one Gr1 winning colts that currently stand at stud, such as Champion Stallion in South Africa Gimmethegreenlight, Deep Field, Shamus Award, Russian Revolution, Tivaci, and All Too Hard. In 2023, nearly fifty different vendors will present 457 yearlings for sale with some of Australia’s best pedigrees on offer including siblings to 160 stakes winners and progeny of 149 stakes-winning mares. Some of the highlights include a brother to Horse of the Year Verry Elleegant, a Snitzel half-sister to King’s Gambit, a Snitzel half-sister to Yes Yes Yes and a three-quarter sibling to Giga Kick.

Some of the Gr1 winners with siblings in the catalogue are Hitotsu, Mazu, Private Eye, Ellsberg, In The Congo, Artorius, Russian Revolution, Pride Of Dubai, Loving Gaby, Santa Ana Lane, Estijaab, Wild Ruler, Kenedna, Super Seth, Converge, Invincibella, Tagaloa, Stronger, Quick Thinker, Mossfun, Shadow Hero, Spright, Peeping, Booker, Angel Of Truth, and Dear Demi.

Many yearlings out of Gr1 winning mares are catalogued including Gr1 winners atchy, English, Shoals, Dixie Blossoms, Fenway, Nakeeta Jane, Faint Perfume, First Seal, Commanding Jewel, Miss Finland, Secret Admirer, Heavens Above, Prompt Response, Maid Of Heaven, Griante, Gust Of Wind, Platelet, Plucky Belle, Princess Coup, Qafila, Savvy Coup, Secret Agenda, and Volpe Veloce.

Of the 31 Gr1-winning graduates Easter has produced since 2018, eight could have been purchased for $200,000 or less, the likes of Mizzy, Exceedance, Aristia, Land Of Plenty, Zoutori, Nettoyer, Quick Thinker and Funstar, while two in three Stakes winners out of the sale since 2018 could have been bought under sale average price.

With 54 individual stallions represented in the catalogue, multiple Champion Sire I Am Invincible leads the entry list with 40 yearlings on offer, while Champion Sire I Am Invincible has 39. Written Tycoon has 32 yearlings, while popular stallions Zoustar (25), Exceed And Excel (21) and Extreme Choice (6) all have representation in the catalogue. The majority of the catalogue (89%) are BOBS eligible, while there are also yearlings that are Super VOBIS and Westspeed qualified.
