ARTORIUS, (Flying Artie – Gracie’s Lass) Blue Diamond Gr.1 winner on 20th February, 2021.

The Gr.1 winners keep coming
from VINERY

Raising elite racehorses is the motto at Vinery Stud. They continue to raise the bar when it comes to achieving this goal with unbeaten Oakleigh Plate Gr.1 winner Marabi being born and raised at Vinery the latest top notch galloper to come from the famed nursery. Last year’s Inglis Easter draft are already kicking goals as two-year-olds with city winner Psychiatrist (Exceed and Excel), Gr.2 placed English Riviera (Deep Field), Listed placed Nobel (Exceed and Excel) and Himalaism (I Am Invincible) who ran third to Group winner Fireburn on debut. Vinery’s 2020 Easter draft was smaller than usual due to the pandemic, but those few three-year-olds include Gr.3 placed city winner A Very Fine Red. Another Vinery Easter graduate is Gr.1 winner Aristia as was exciting freshman stallion Russian Revolution, while Vinery has bred and raised the winners of the three major two-year-old races in Australia recently.

“It’s no secret that the property is well renowned for producing top quality racehorses,” said Adam White. “There is rarely a time when we don’t have a horse of the calibre of Marabi taking that V brand to great heights. Other Vinery Easter graduates are Gr.1 winners Aristia and exciting freshman stallion Russian Revolution, while Vinery has also sold the winners of a Golden Slipper, Blue Diamond and a Magic Millions with three different horses over the last three years which is something we are very proud of.”

With eighteen yearlings on offer, the Vinery Easter draft is a cornucopia of choice for buyers, headlined by Vinery born and raised Blue Diamond Gr.1 winner Artorius (Flying Artie)’s half-brother by Champion Sire Written Tycoon. The first foal of winning More Than Ready mare Meow, who is a half-sister to Stakes winners Global Warming and Pure Purrfection (dam of Outback Barbie).
